  Good afternoon to all. Well as of now its a quarter past the hour, and I just got done putting together the outline for my message next wednesday at Axiom. I will be succesfull proving the existence for our God, and how he is the only true God, that has or will ever exist. But for now Im probably going to go upstairs, and either watch some ESPN, Speed Channel, or just go outside and play some ball. Oh yes oh yes, I did say something about showing the bible study that me and Christine did yesterday. Hope you all enjoy this, I call it " I thought he was with you."

  Turn in your bible to Luke 2:41-51. Now read with me, NOW EVERY YEAR HIS PARENTS WENT TO JERUSALEM FOR THE FESTIVAL OF THE PASSOVER. AND WHEN HE WAS TWELVE YEARS OLD, THEY WENT UP AS USUALL FOR THE FESTIVAL. WHEN THE FESTIVAL WAS ENDED AND THEY STARTED TO RETURN, THE BOY JESUS STAYED BEHIND IN JERUSALEM, BUT HIS PARENTS DID NOT KNOW IT. ASSUMING THAT HE WAS IN THE GROUP OF TRAVELERS, THEY WENT A DAY'S JOURNEY. THEY STARTED TO LOOK AMONG FOR HIM AMONG THEIR RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. WHEN THEY DID NOT FIND HIM, THEY RETURNED TO JERUSALEM TO FIND HIM. AFTER THREE DAYS THEY FOUND HIM IN THE TEMPLE, SITTING AMONG THE TEACHERS, LISTENING TO THEM AND ASKING THEM QUESTIONS. AND ALL WHO HEARD HIM WERE AMAZED AT HIS UNDERSTANDINGS AND HIS ANSWERS. WHEN HIS PARENTS SAW HIM, THEY WERE ASTONISHED; AND HIS MOTHER SAID TO HIM, "CHILD WHY HAVE YOU TREATED US LIKE THIS? LOOK YOUR FATHER AND I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR YOU IN GREAT ANXIETY." HE SAID TO THEM, "WHY WERE YOU SEARCHING FOR ME? DID YOU NOT KNOW THAT I MUST BE IN MY FATHERS HOUSE?" BUT THEY DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT HE HAD SAID TO THEM. THEN HE WENT DOWN WITH THEM AND CAME TO NAZARETH, AND WAS OBEDIENT TO THEM. HIS MOTHER TREASURED ALL OF THESE THINGS IN HER HEART.

  Alright lets disect this passage and get what Gods trying to speak to us. Lets go over it again, and apply to us and when we go and leave church. Verse 41, Jesus his mom and dad were going where? They were going to a religious service.( WE GO TO CHURCH, AND YOUTH GROUP) Verse 42 states that they were regular attenders. (SOME OF US MAY GO WHENEVER THE DOORS ARE OPEN) Verse 43, his parents headed back from the meeting, but Christ stayed back. Verse 44, they assumed that he was with them, and they left. (WHEN WE LEAVE CHURCH WE ASSUME THAT SINCE CHRIST CAME WITH US, THAT HE IS GOING TO LEAVE WITH US, BUT HE MAY GET LEFT BEHIND) Verse 45, when they didnt find him they returned back to Jerusalem. ( WHEN WE CANT FIND GOD OR DONT FEEL HIM, WE RETURN BACK TO CHURCH) Verse 46, they return to Jerusalem and find him in the temple talking, and being talked to with the scholars and scribes and pharisees. ( WHEN WE FIND GOD WHERE IS HE? IN THE PRESENCE OF THOSE PRAYING TO HIM, AND HAVING FELLOWSHIP) Verse 48, his parents were astonished and why he had caused them so much pain and grief (WE GET ANGERED AT GOD FOR NOT BEING THERE WITH US IN TIMES OF TRIALS WHEN WE FELT LIKE HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE) Verse 49, Jesus tells them that they should have know that he would be in his fathers house, or in the temple. (EVER SINCE CHRIST'S DEATH, OUR BODIES HAVE BEEN THE TEMPLE OF GOD, SO THUS HE IS WITH US, HE IS NEVER AWAY, HE JUST WANTS US TO INVITE HIM ALONG FOR THE RIDE) Verse 51, he goes back home with his parents (JESUS IS GIVEN THE INVITATION TO COME ALONG WITH THEM, THEY MAKE SURE THAT HE IS THERE)

  Thus remember that God is always inside of you, hes always working, hes never far from you, all you have to do is realize that he isnt lost, he will be in his father's house. Hope you guys got the full effect from that, I know me and Christine did.
