• What is your stance on religion? Are you a religious person?

  Christianity = religion? Wrong...

  Most people believe that if you are a Christian you are religious, however, true faith in Christ is as we say all about relationship and not about religion. It's about who you know not what you do or don't do. Some may ask well isn't Christianity a religion? Technically by definition yes, but realize that Jesus, I believe, never meant for his followers to compartmentalize their faith in him into a religion where people become mindless followers of routine, dogmas, doctrines, and circumstance.

  I am a follower of Christ, I am a Christian, I am not religious.

  • Religion crucified Christ on the cross.
  • Religion killed 25,000 + Anglo saxons on Christmas day during the middle ages because they wouldn't confess Christ. 
  • Religion put millions of Jews to death during the middle ages because they were the source of the black plague.
  • Religion put millions of Jews to death during Nazi Germany because of their non-arianism.
  • Religion makes you believe that Jesus is your solve all to become rich, prosperous, healthy, and wealthy.
  • Religion treats the poor and sick as faithless.
  • Religion says put your faith in your ability and your works instead of the grace of God.
  • Religion says that twisting the word of God is alright to suit your own needs and desires.
  • Religion says at the cost of being politically correct let's not offend anyone by saying that Jesus is the only path to salvation.
  • Religion says do whatever you want to do, after all God will forgive you.

  My faith is not religion. I have made the decision, my path is clear, I won't give up, back up, or shut up, I am a follower of Christ.
