PHILLIP THE GOOFY YOUTH PASTOR!!!!!!!!!!!
This past Monday our church had a hay ride, weenie roast, and passed out candy. Well in the midst of all of these activities a teen decided to leave to go see his girlfriend, without permission. Well as we finally get to the town where he is, I precede to place my cell phone in my lap and forget its there. We get to the house where he is supposed to be and I get out. When I got out of my pastor's truck I heard something hit the ground, but I just figured that it was some candy. The teen isnt at the house, so we drive around the neighborhood looking for him. While driving around I realize I don't have my phone. I can't find it, anywhere. Not in my candy stach, not under the seat, not behind the seat, no where. Then it comes to mind, maybe that candy wasn't candy, maybe it was my phone! I head back up there and sure enough it was. It had been laying in 4 inches of water for about 5 minutes. The ensuing days my phone's reception became fried, thus I needed to buy a phone. Yesterday I had to shell 150 bucks for a new phone. The lesson here my friends is don't baptize your phone. You can't take it with ya. Besides if God uses cell phones I'm sure his are much better then the ones we have here.
In his love Phill

*shakes head* wow.
that's okay tho... i "baptized" my phone in the washing machine because i put it in the breast pocket of a jacket that I washed. insurance covered it, so I didn't have to fork over money for a new one (praise the Lord!) so I learned that one the hard way too. it's all good. I tend to lack common sense as well (tho mine was more of a case of forgetfulness at work...)
